Welcome!

Burrito Brigade has very low overhead costs as a result of more than ≈90% of our food being donated from generous partners in our community, and thanks to the help of our wonderful and tireless volunteers who support our organization seven days a week.

Still, financial support from everyday donors like you is important to the health of any nonprofit, as these donations cover basic costs such as utilities, staff wages, office supplies, program supplies (like packing materials for bulk donations), and more! And while we do receive grant funding from time to time, those funds are often earmarked for particular programs, and cannot be used for the types of expenses mentioned above.

So, we really mean it when we say every dollar counts and makes a difference in helping us feed the hungry in our community. We’re grateful for your support of any amount, whether it’s a one-time donation or monthly contributions.

One-time Donations

✦ Want to make a one-time donation using a debit or credit card? We accept Zeffy, Square, and PayPal!

 

Sustaining Donors

✦ Would you like to become a sustaining supporter of Burrito Brigade’s work with recurring monthly donations? You can set these up via Zeffy. (Be sure the “monthly” option is selected!)

✦ Did you know you can setup recurring monthly payments through most banks and credit unions? That’s right! They will automatically cut a cashier’s check and mail it to us on your behalf each month. It takes just a couple of minutes to set it up through the “online bill pay” feature, and then you’re set! Ask your bank teller for more information. Please have them mail it to our address, below.

Please do not mail cash, as it could get lost in transit. You can drop off cash donations with the Executive Director or the Administrative Specialist at our address below.

  2. Then, every time you shop and use your Rewards Card, you are helping Burrito Brigade earn a donation!
  3. You still receive offers through My Freddy’s Rewards.

If your total donations for the year are more than $250, we will mail you a tax letter by January 31st of the following calendar year.
