About

Since 2014, Burrito Brigade has provided thousands fresh meals meals and food boxes in Eugene and Springfield through our weekend Burrito Brigade, Waste to Taste “grocery store”, and Little Free Pantries throughout town.

Burrito Brigade remedies the unfair food distribution system where unhoused, undocumented, unemployed, poor people bear the heaviest burden. We come together as a community for the experience of providing immediate, material aid to our neighbors.

Pics from around Burrito Brigade

There is a white background with an illustrated carrot in the center of the Waste to Taste logo. The carrot is realistic looking with bright orange skin and white creases in its body, with its greens still attached to the top. In the center of the image the words, "Waste to Taste" are written in black and white font over the top of the carrot.

An assortment of fresh and colorful produce that has been diced for adding to Burrito Brigade burritos is lined up neatly on a wooden cutting board. There is a horizontal band of diced white onion at the top, then a section of diced orange bell pepper, diced red bell pepper, diced green bell pepper, and diced tomatoes.

A Little Free Pantry is being refilled. A hand is reaching into the open door of the pantry to add Burrito Brigade Burritos. The pantry is vibrantly painted with blues, greens, blacks, yellows, oranges, reds. There is some hand-painted writing in the center that reads "Little Free Pantry."

The Burrito Brigade logo is round, with a black background. There are alternating red and black rays (like sunshine) emanating from the center of the logo. In the middle, there is an illustrated hand in black and white, holding a tan colored burrito. Around the perimeter of the logo there is white font against the black background that reads: "Burrito Brigade – We rise by lifting others."
